"Appreciation Day" @ CCA Kitchen

Well, being Pinoy, the love for food is always there. I thank Mr. Atos for sharing his kaching kaching as a budget for once/twice/thrice/many many times a year eat out or delivery at work.

Before the year ends, a calendar invite appeared in Outlook for an "Appreciation Day" - whatever you might call it, the sound of "I will treat you and need to liquidate the budget needed" for the year. (OKAY, Im not really sure how it goes but as long as it is free I HAVE A SMUG on my face for that!)

Ok shall we start?

A list of Salad they offer

We had a choice of one main entree that includes unlimited salad and soup.

It was 15 of us and it took more than an hour before our dish was served. So maybe that's why they offer "eat-all-you-can" salad and soup. This will compensate on the loooong wait. Even before my order arrived, I was already stuffed by munching on greens and carrots like a rabbit!

My own salad version. Eggs, bell peppers, mushroom, corn, lettuce, carrots, turnips and tomatoes with asian vinigrette.

First bowl of soup. Ham and veggies with croutons.

Butter and herb dip - Malunggay bread - Battered Carrots - and some dressing I forgot like mayo.

Fish Fillet filled with Crab meat and cheese.

-I never knew how everything blended well. The crab meat is generously stuffed inside the fish fillet with cheese between. The fish fillet really compliments the crab meat. I can eat this everyday! Some pickled veggies on the side and garlic rice.

Ransel got Sunday's Best Roast Chicken.  Tender chicken and really seasoned well. Although its not in my definition about roasted having charcoaled cancer roast.

Eya had  this Pasta Dish. Fettucini which I think is Puttanesca or Chicken Parmesian something.

Anne's order which is Chicken Pesto Pasta.

Liz had chicken too.

Gino had Chicken Tandoori

And the best way to end dinner is finishing off a bottle of wine Ruth brought with them early this year.

Just Because! Last working day of the year sooo RED

I think I'm ending my year bloody red, although PINK is my favorite color (yes that figures) but my usual blog color is red and black (to which I am not stating the obvious) even on my previous blog.

First, a new bloody red car.

So yeah, I have this deep love for red all of a sudden. I have been dying to have red pumps similar to the one below.

Christmas Party @ Js

Our office friends have this annual christmas party and this time (minus the friends who are now in Singapore and Australia) at J's condo.

It was pot luck and we all had to bring one dish each. In the end, we were overflowing with food and some got spoiled too bad.

Having dinner with my office friends is always a blast.

I think I had too much Orange andTequila mix last night that I totally forgot when we had dinner. But all I can remember is that yeah it was a work week.

Since I am sick (again) with on and off fever because of the weather, I'll cut this short and let the pictures do the talking.

I am covered with 2 layers of thick blankets to keep me warm but still chilling.

We tried their 149php promo.

Meal of your choice plus soup, a glass of ice with icedtea (geddit?) and 2 cream puffs!



Ohhhh pastry heaven!

Here comes the soup. It's like onion and garlic with I don't know why its a bit orangey in color and bread soaked. But I love it.

Ohhhh warm soup on a cold weather <3

3 of us ordered spicy chicken strips.

Ok, first I was a bit disappointed with the serving size. The plates are huge but the rice is about half a cup but the spicy chicken strips.. oh my oh my....tender spicy chicken strips! I will totally remember you!

Chris' order which is..I don't know what it's called but its wings in garlic and something sauce.

Sherwin got ordered sweet and sour fish

We also ordered their pasta meals for 99php.

both served with deep fried fish sticks

And what made me happy in the end were the cream puffs!

Overall, I love it! I even had churros to go.

 Although if you are hungry, you might wanna skip it.

But I imagine myself on a date place like this. Light meal while the band serenades you.

and THEY ARE GREAT! I TOTALLY LOVE THEIR BAND!

the guy on the guitar (right) reminds me of my dad *sobs* anyway all guitars remind me of my dad.
