Last Saturday

Last Saturday, I watched one of our closest friend walk down the aisle.

We were all teary eyed as we see Jess, who looks very beautiful and equally stunning and all grown up.

It was just yesterday that we've been crazy in gradeschool and highschool.

The ceremony started around past 9. Jhen and I were like back in highschool talking alot and made fun of each other while the priest was saying homily.

So, when the ceremony was over we all headed to the Oasis Lounge for the reception.

Jess and Alfred got 2 wedding cakes.

This beautiful 3 tier blue and yellow cake which was left untouched.

And the cool thick book which seems to be like carrot cake or something. 

When we arrived, we were offered some quiche and pumpkin soup. Delish!

 

And since we are so hungry. we had a bit of everything in the buffet. Some veggies, pasta, fish sticks. meat loaf, chicken pastel and more veggies.

And the chocolate fountain has cream puffs waffers mallows fruits and kani salad and buko pandan salad.

Just because!: Its Jew's Birthday at Il Ponticello

Kung Hei Fat Choi! =] It has been a very very busy month for me with all these events going on and of course work. I kinda messed up my sleeping time and should have been sleeping at an earlier time rather than on a later time which is around 6am. It is to make way as BB just got me to the gym but begged not to until Feb. I kinda envy him now for having a sexy bod. So yeah I cooked over the weekend and made him eat alot and was complaining about eating alot. Well...as they say, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach! And a way to MY heart is A LOT!

Anyhooo early January we met up with the lovely Jew who celebrated her birthday straight from her flight to Manila at Ponticello in Makati on a weeknight lolz! Our CVG buddies were also there too!

As we drank and went crazy on the dance floor, I never realized how much we had fun that night! downed 2 pitchers of cocktails which I don't know how its called and 2 bottles of Absolut Vodka.

It was the most disturbing night just like CVG days lolz!

Tokyo Cafe

After Christmas it was time to meet up with my friends. I guess it ha been a year since we last seen each other and thank goodness for our schedules to be in sync and we were able to schedule a lunch.

Too bad we are missing Kath. How I miss them so much. I'm soo excited to see them again at Jess' wedding. *my girls are all grown up*

We decided to eat at Tokyo Cafe in Megamall.

I yet have to complain about the slow service that we recieved. It took a while before they asked for our orders and they even forgot one dish that we ordered. There were just a small number of diners at it took sometime before they can accomodate us.

Chicken Omurice

Chunks of chicken with japanese rice topped with scrambled egg. Personally, I didn't like the brown sauce. It was really weird like it tasted ketchup with soy sauce or something.

For the pasta, we had Napolitan. Sauce is ketchup with mushroom, green bell pepper, onion, ham and bacon.

Chicken in a basket. Really good! Huge chicken served with fries and ketchup and gravy.

Chicken BBQ Pizza

Thin crust pizza with huge chunks of chicken strips marinated in bbq sauce topped with cheese and onions. Must try!

And of course we were camwhoring.

The Holidays

Hello January!

I know! I have been missing for a few days now ever since the holidays. Christmas and New Year are the season that I have always been waiting for every year. It's when you are richer, healthier and in a I don't care diet. Guilt free season to indulge yourself with all the rewards you can give yourself and your love ones for the year.

I pretty much ended the year with good stuff. I got promoted again but not getting vocal about it just yet, got a new car, got my family a new huge tv and I think alot more stuff. But one thing I wish for is that I wish my dad is here to see all these things.  I still miss you every single day.

On a lighter note,before I start to cry a bucket of tears, I'm going to tell you what happened last Christmas. I had no time to make an entry even if I wanted to because I was really in a rush to make some last minute Christmas shopping. BB and I braved the thank-goodness-not-traffic C5 and headed to Tiendesitas to get Leila a gift and some more gifts.

Finished at 7pm and stores are starting to close.

Went home at BB's and little did I know they are having a Christmas Party. So around 9pm they started the amusing program and games. They even made me dance. =))

The neighbors all had to bring a dish.

It was such a feast!

Nachos, Pasta, roasted chicken, BBQ, chicken lollipops and more...

More food.

They even rented a a mobile.

It was a really fun night. But I had to leave and rush to the Gov.'s place for another dinner.

I was really full from my boyfriend's neighbor's party but I cannot resist the Governor's dishes for the night. They had Peking Duck. Oh yum...

We had karaoke that night and finished past 2am I think. So we called it a night and headed back home to open our gifts.

Guess who was super kaduper happy to open her gift?

That morning, relatives are comming for a visit.

New Year was pretty much the same. We had a few fireworks (below) and ate maki, roast beef and more.

I think I got sick after the festivities.

I just can't wait for the gym stuff this January.
