I Cook: Random Food: On a High

Its been day 4 of this flu epidemia. I had to go work from home for 2 days just because I don't want to go on a leave. But then on the 4th day I'm having this feverish feeling. I can't taste the food and it just sucks because my stomach will cry for "feeding time" and yet everything seems to be bland. Like the other day, I had Nilaga and I drizzled fish sauce all over the rice to taste. It didn't make me one happy girl. I don't know if I should be happy about it because for a few (yes few) days Ill have to stop eating and prolly lose a few lbs and yet I am hungry. My mind says I'm hungry and so is my stomach. END OF TOPIC.

I prepared dinner today which is all about spicy and fulfilling . I thought that I can taste the food when it is spicy and make my nose a little less stuffy (that rhymes! lol!). I don't have a name for it yet but it can be close to a heart attack.

Ingredients:

Oil for frying
Breading Mix
Chicken breast strips/ Chicken Patties
Hash Brown
Lettuce
Cheese/Cheese Sauce
Burger Buns

Heat the pan with right amount of oil and cook the Hash Brown according to the directions on the package.

Make sure to place the fried stuff on a tissue/ to drain the excess oil.

Next, wash and pat dry the chicken strips and add breading mix and fry until golden brown.

Arrange the burger buns and place lettuce, hash brown, chicken strips and add cheese/ketchup/mayo/hot sauce.

And you are done! I could have placed a fried egg on top of the chicken strips and yes, that is a complete heart attack. Or maybe I can put grilled pineapple too on top to have a kinda sweet kick to it. Endless combinations. A quick and easy recipe and great for those who are in a high bad cholesterol diet :)). Everyone had burger and were just silent and devoured what was left of the pieces.

So long burger...... it was a happy moment indeed.

Happy Eating! :)
