RFWE : Weekends @ Dampa

I first discovered dampa in Marikina with my family 11 years ago. My dad really loved the sizzling Maya Maya. He always ordered the same thing when we go there. I miss my dad :( It kinda breaks my heart whenever we go places and that photographic memory of him just flashes. The way he smiled when we go out for dinner or lunch.  SOOOO OOOKKKAAAYYY moving forward as I got hit by my sudden  sentimentality. One weekend, we headed to dampa and BB, just like my dad orders the same thing everytime we dine there.
What's good about the Dampa in Marikina is that its cheap and it's good. You just need to find the right stall to have your food cooked. for around 75php to 150php cooked dish its not bad! I have tried the Dampa in Ortigas and it costs us around 5k. Marikina costs around 500pesos only for 3 dishes and lots of rice and coke. I have a faint memory of the dampa in Pque. though. :)

Dampa has rellocated (after the Ondoy Storm) beside the Activity Center in Riverbanks. Although it has a fewer stalls now, it's still great to visit. Food Roll....!
Yes! I love free stuff! :)

A small plate of sliced green mangoes to nibble while waiting for your food. And yes... its FREE!!!!

Then I ordered some mussels. sizzle sizzle in butter and cheese.

Looks and tastes sooo good! Seafood GALORE!

Since I love shrimps... i wouldn't miss it :)
Buttered medium size shrimps!

And finally...
The Maya Maya :)

We even had to take some home because we werent able to finish the whole thing.

So yes, another Saturday Random Food We Eat. :)

Happy Eating!

So one Saturday again, we headed to Quiapo for random things. BB, a frequent at this Malaysian restaurant had me try few things. Roti and Curry and Mertabak. It was cool to know that they have a branch along Commonwealth too near OMA or was it the building where OMA is.

Which an affordable price, they serve Halal pizza, Filipino and Malaysian dishes.

RFWE : Lunch Breaks : Kogi Bulgogi

If you have been reading my blog for a while now, you must've noticed that since I work in Eastwood, random lunch consists for repeatative lunch/dinners around Eastwood establishments. I don't want to sound mean but I can't go Kogi Bulgogi once a week. Maybe once a month or maybe once in 2 months.

So for the sake of backlogs and blogging, I now add Kogi Bulgogi to the list of RFWE (Random Food We Eat) with better picture quality  compared to my previous blog about Kogi.

Tissue Shot. =)

What I love most about Korean Restaurants is what I call "freebies". They have like 6 appetizers to keep you busy  while they cook your food.

Ramyeon. Spicy!

Bibimbap.

My Mango Shake

Totally forgot what this is. Like Misua with dumplings or something.

Grilled Chicken. You wrap them on lettuce.

Sea Food Pot. Crab, Shrimp, Mussels and cucumber which is spicy.

You can tell I really didnt put much effort in creating this entry. I just  redeemed my tumblr which was created a long long long time ago to do Photo Blogging. I like those one liner, a picture paints a thousand words whatever thingie. Just been really busy this month with all work and weekends to love. I haven't even finished with my previous entry and had to delete it because loss of momentum.

Happy Eating :)
