G8 Avenue

Again, if you are from Eastwood and spend most of your time there rather than being at home you will totally hate seeing your building. But again, the pleasure and the mood is totally uplifting. For one, if you are sick and tired of the everyday drama and people aaround you, you can just go down and take a walk. Grab a coffee and just sit and watch the Yayas walk their dogs and mingle.

After Jala Jala getaway, we went to Eastwood (ALWAYS since it's a drop point for our friends who resides in Libis and Pasig, we decided to have our late lunch. It was already 10ish when we arrived and we were looking for a place suited for our group of 10.

The savior would be Somethin' Fishy but the breakfast buffet is still 12 midnight. We were all hungry and pizza is not an option that night. I remember seeing Dencio's which has re-opened and when we got there the waitress told me that they are closed.

Beside Dencio's is "G8 Avenue" which seems to be expensive looking resto-bar. The waitress was telling us that they do not have service charge and all that. I told her we were like 10 and she was happy to show the packages that they have good for 3-5 people. The first package costs around 1,300 php and the second package is 1,400php.

If I remember it correctly, these are the food that they have for the package.

Cheese Sticks (YUM YUM!!!!! it's like mozzerella sticks)
Crispy shrimp
Chopsuey
Bulalo
Crispy Pata (in the absence of Roasted Chicken)
Beef Caldereta
Pancit Bihon
Bangus Belly
Crispy Catfish
Buttered Shrimp
Pinakbet
2 pitchers of iced tea
10 cups of rice

and

10 Hungry people

While waiting for our order, we were served with the "ICED TEA". It tasted like water with color and a hint of sweetness that I requested them to mix us another pitcher since it doesn't taste like iced tea to me.

Look how light the color is. It was nice of the waiter to mix us another pitcher and came back with a better looking and better tasting drink.

The Cheese Sticks. Really ooozing with Cheese. It is covered with bread crumbs and like a soft dough. It came with a dip. Really really yummy!

The spicy crunchy shrimp was next for another appetizer.

Here comes their Pinakbet.

Buttered Shrimps

Their Bulalo has a huge bone and just a few meat. But it was enough for everyone to taste.

Crispy Catfish. Full of breading and since I am sensitive with MSG, I didn't like it that much.

We stopped taking pictures because the food came and we started eating. =)

Since we are bang for the buck type of people, 270 for per head is a bit for us. So the price shall I say is a bit expensive. But generally speaking the price is just average. However, being cheapskate at most times, settling for Paper Brown Bag is better. This should remind me that it is a resto-bar in City Walk surrounding other food establishments.

Over all experience, I was full, happy and satisfied. We even brought home some left overs.
