Miss-shells

If you have been sweating like a crazy mortal since last week, look around you might be inside a hot oven already. So here I am chillin in my brother's room since it's the coolest place I know around the house. The wind is a bit cooler and stronger in this area / room in this house.

Last Friday after work, we were getting ready for the annual "Bulacan Day" for Aries' birthday. He turned 20 something I'm not really sure. Thursday and Friday I have been  ranting about a really bad case of head ache. Then Friday after work I had a really high fever. We were suppose to go for a swim around 7am before heading to Aries' place but I was stuck in bed with an on and off fever. Thinking it's JUST a fever we still headed on a 1.5-2 hour drive to Bulacan. Yes small spots appeared everywhere and I wasnt hungry the whole day but forced myself to eat because of the seafoods I await every year.

 Oysters

 Shrimps
 Mussels

Tilapia

There are alot more than these. Too bad I had to sleep and get myself isolated most of the time because I wasn't really feeling well.  I had few rashes on my face then spots started appearing everywhere. Most of them in my tummy area. I went to the hospital to have it checked and they said it was nothing. It could just be viral. Then the spots started to reduce on Wednesday. But then a bump appeared on my left ear. Then we had it checked with a family friend doctor. It was a lymph node. She then claimed I have German Measles. All I thought it was a kid's virus. Oh well... better having it now than later. =) My cousin had measles when she was like 3or 4 months pregnant and my uber handsome nephew got complications.

So yeah I was a week off from work. I'm still going around the web and trying to figure out the best vacation ever for this month. After 2 weeks I'll be heading south again. I could have gone to SG this month but yes, someone didn't get the passport right on time.

Oh by the way I was meaning to blog this earlier this week. Marks and Spencer in Eastwood has one of the best pastries ever! like I bought 12 cookies from them. They were 50% off for all  Fitness First members. Thanks to my friends who are FF members, I bought and ate em cookies. Bad news is that it's only until April 30, 2011. So now gedddit why I was meaning to blog about it. Oh well. The pastries are gooood but a bit pricey for the original price. Each enormous cookie costs around 40ish php and since it 50% off do the math. Other baked goodies are around 80php. So imagine thyself like you are in starbucks or something. The coffee is reasonable too. Only that it is brewed.

I'm friggin excited.

Wait.. I'm really excited. Ill touch and feel you in 2 weeks.... =)

*All pictures are from either the web and first batch of pictures are from Aries
